Description
Miestica and Altela are large kingdoms located in the south-eastern region of the Second Continent. This game setting is located along the southern-most border between these two kingdoms. There are two major cities appearing, each on either side of the border. The land between the two cities is densely forested and divided into smaller parts by a system of small, meandering rivers. There are three other smaller towns in the region. A bay to the south provides access to the sea.
History
The land between Miestica and Altela have often been the least populated parts of the kingdoms, due to the frequent conflict that erupt along the borders. Most citizens have preferred to live in the heart of their respective nations, closer to the capital cities. There is one exception: the Southern Miestica-Altela Borders. The southern borders are semi-isolated by small mountain ranges, and occupied by dense forests and systems of rivers. Open conflict and large mobilizations of military force have happened rarely in the region due to the difficult terrain. As such, the southern borders have enjoyed a rather peaceful history in comparison to places along other parts of the border.
Developer's Note
There were two versions of this map. The first map featured a giant mountain in the center (it looked like an enormous stack of pancakes). The second and current version of the map sees the mountain moved way north west, where only a fraction of it can be seen.
